Description

This adventure teaches children how to be safe around fire. Many children have a “superhero” or an “I’m invincible” attitude when it comes to things like fire. They think they can just smash through a window or a wall, no problem, and they won’t get hurt. Helping children learn about what to do during scary situations can help them realize the importance of being safe around fire, and will help them should a fire occur in your home.

Simply print out the PDF file and start working on the activities together. Mostly an open and go type of lesson. Meant for families or groups to do together.

Activities include:
-Stop, drop, and roll
-How to pick a meeting spot
-What to do if there’s a fire in the home
-What to do if you can’t get out of your home
-Practicing getting out of your home during a fire
-Learning about fire equipment
-Finding the smoke detectors in your home
-Practice being around a fire safely
