Description
Oh sweet little bumblebee, how I love your honey and what you do for me.
My little one has been noticing your flower dances lately. And I have been sharing your pollinating story. I created this little put-together as a way to continue our walking conversations at home while talking about size relationships and using our pinching fingers (not stingers) to put these little bumbling creatures in the perfect hive nook and cranny. A simple puzzle turned into a story about the natural world. This little differentiation game is a great size for our Sensory Bin. Hide the little bees and let your little entomologist find and classify these striped cuties by size.
They fit flush in their hive, which seems so rewarding when you find just the right spot. Turn the piece over and the bees tumble out.
The Happy Hive measures approximately 4.5” tall and 4.5” wide.
The largest circle is 1.5” in diameter. The smallest is about 1” in diameter.
All the pieces come in a drawstring pouch for easy tote-ability.
