Lacing Friends – Hedgehog – Montessori Waldorf inspired Fine Motor Skills Toy

Let this little woodland friend inspire your explorer to lace and play while building important fine motor skills. A whimsical twist on a traditional lacing board, this adorable critter is sure to elicit some play-and-learn time with your little naturalist. Have your little one tell this new friend a story while working little muscles and threading the leather string through each hole. A great skill builder, and cognitive puzzle because whatever is done needs to be undone; posing somewhat of a challenge for beginners.

This little hedgehog was hand cut and gently sanded. It was then hand painted with an eco-friendly, plant-based paint and lightly sealed with an all-natural beeswax finish. This little friend measures approximately 5.5” from nose to end and a list more than 3” tall. The wood itself is about ¾” thick. Each Lacing Friend comes with a leather thread and muslin pouch for storage and toting.
