Not only can this be used to celebrate a child’s birthday with a trip around the sun but it can be used as an educational tool for teach the months of the year and the 4 seasons.

You have the option of gluing the pieces to the 36″ circle background of leaving them unglued so that the kids can place the pieces on the mat.

NOTE: I use freezer paper to print and cut my patterns. It is the secret to cutting small precise pieces! Freezer paper is available as a roll in grocery stores and can be cut into 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheets to print on or you can purchase precut sheets.
