We stand for quality education for all children regardless of how a family chooses to "school" their child by supporting parents. Founder, Jennifer Phillips is a 20+ year veteran public school teacher realizes that parents need options to support the education of their children. Her background is extensive with training in Elementary Education and Educational Technology, plus being a NASA Explorer School and National Board Certified, Early Adolescent Math teacher; she's also a mother to four children of her own.

EmpowLearn designs and creates customized child led, inquiry based, open and go, unit studies for home schooling families. Parents of home school children are very busy and we know when children are able to learn connecting with the things they love, magic happens. The MathaMagician creates learning opportunities to bridge the gap between school and home for families choosing to send their children (Prek-8th grade) to a school setting outside the home. Busy working families today feel detached from the learning their child does at school, and as much as they would like to understand and support their child, they don't have that knowledge, yet. I am the liaison between the school and home. I speak both languages and can help the family reduce the conflict around homework and learning when partnered together.
