Description

The Haggard Penguin’s chick used to hate two-digit multiplication. And who can blame her. Multiply, carry the 1, multiply again, carry the 4, add it all up, carry the 3. It can be pretty daunting and very tedious. But once I created this little tool, 2-digit multiplication became a lot easier and a bit more fun – or at least a little less un-fun.

This tool walks your hatchlings through using partial products to complete 2-digit x 1-digit multiplication and 2-digit x 2-digit multiplication. It does NOT do the work for the student – it just guides them through the process of doing the calculating themselves. And along the way it gives them positive reinforcement with motivational messages that you can customize to fit your needs.

You don’t need to be an Excel expert to use this tool – I love making Excel tools that are easy to use by folks with any level of expertise.
